Every gym has three Reidlos that have a piece of their gym's badge. They are very similar to gym trainers in other countries, though they tend to be stronger. At least one of their Poke`mon is usually the same type as the type their gym uses. You have to beat all three Reidlos before you can even talk with the gym leader. The Reidlos are scattered throughout Esrah, though there is a program available for the Poke`Gear used for tracking them. The Poke`Nav has the tracker built in, but you have to have it activated at Esrah's capitol building located in Vichyssoise City. This city is on the opposite side of the continent from where the boat (the only means of transportation to the island for new trainers), so it is not practical to use the Poke`Nav. Reidlos have at least three Poke`mon and can be any age.

Excerpt from Poke`Mon Reidlos:
"Esrah was a somewhat large country with extreme conditions in many areas. Like most countries, it had eight gyms, but the similarities ended there. The concept seemed simple, but this land was much more complicated than Ash could have expected."
Esrah is the land that Poke`Mon Reidlos takes place in. Ash, Misty and Brock are invited to their special Poke`Mon league after proving their skill as trainers. The country's main purpose is the league, and it doesn't have many inhabitants that aren't employed by the Esrah Poke`Mon League. The country was settled merely for the purpose of the league--it's harsh terrains were ideal for the super-hard challenge to reside.
